Draftstars project fantasy scoring by multiplying a player’s salary by 0.007, however historically players average less. The graph below shows the average historical player score vs starting salary.
Coaches are looking for players who far exceed their salary based expectation, we refer to this as BOOM. BOOM is the minimum score required to sit in the top 20% of historical scores for that starting price. At the other end, we refer to BUST simply as scoring less than 5 points below salary expectation.
This tool estimates a likelihood of each player exceeding their BOOM score or dropping below their BUST score based on historical performance with a stronger weighting given to recent form. Games with TOG less than 50% have been excluded as well as games where players have started as the substitute.
Players must have played a minimum of 8 games to have probabilities shown.
